Influenced by big band drummers like Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa and later by the Beatles, Jan began playing drums at the early age of 10.  Over the past 40 years he has played drums, bass and guitar in various bands covering many styles of music.
Founded in the early 80's, Jan was instrumental in the formation of the John Clayton Band, Hardline and Direct Current.
Jan owns and operates Fatt Catt Productions and FCP Sound and Light...www.fcpsound.net.
In 2005, Jan and his wife Sandie formed The Little Big Band.
